If you have shopped with us for a while, you’ll know that Black Friday isn’t a promotional period that we personally take part in.
For many retailers, Black Friday is an opportunity to discount end of line products, which in some cases, can be great and well worth waiting for.
As many of you will know, we celebrate the turn of each new season, by introducing new collections in keeping with the time of year. Therefore, our discounts and offers naturally fall at the end of each season, where we offer reductions on products that would otherwise remain unused, in line with our sustainability efforts.
Of course, we wouldn’t want to overlook the fact that Black Friday is a hugely anticipated shopping event.
As such, we wanted to utilise this opportunity to give back to the community. Therefore, we are instead participating in ‘Give Back’ Friday.
This means that 10% from every single order, from now until midnight on Friday, will be set aside and spent on food for our local food bank.
Please don’t feel obliged to purchase.
We also appreciate that Black Friday can cause mounted pressure for some. Therefore, without wishing to cause any pressure to make a purchase with us tomorrow, we are committing a minimum amount of £250 to spend on the food, regardless of our sales tomorrow.
We are always looking for further ways to better ourselves as a business, and this Christmas, at a time of giving, we are incredibly excited to be involved in this cause, thanks to you; our wonderful customer base.
‘Give Back’ Friday is an event we are proud to be participating in, but don’t worry, there will be plenty of bargains to be had in our end of season January sale!
