A truly one of a kind advent calendar, presented and exclusively illustrated for Glass & Wick by talented Leicestershire based artist Abi Mothersdill.

Upon opening your advent calendar, you’ll be transported to the heartwarming scene of a whimsical, charming street; blanketed in snow with a quaint road lined with beautiful townhouses, a French Patisserie and of course, a magical little book shop. There are plenty more details to be spotted, each one adding to the festive magic of the illustration.

Complete with this year's design is a complimentary illustrated bookmark, as a gift from us, to be enjoyed for years to come.

Finally, the back of each advent calendar features a special blurb, complete with a QR code to unveil a compilation of heart warming scent stories from a selection of Glass & Wick customers. After all, what better way to make spirits bright than to share in the joy of reading these special stories?!

Proudly created in collaboration with Abi Mothersdill, an incredibly talented local illustrator, based in Leicestershire.

Abi specialises in perfectly capturing the places most special to them, from beloved homes to wedding venues and more.

Her charming illustrative style has resulted in a truly joyous design.

For our 24 Days of Scent advent collaboration, Bianca and Abi were inspired by the power of scent and its ability to so strongly remind us of special memories, places and people.

This led to the idea of an enchanted Christmas book; holding an array of magical scent stories within.

From here, all the details of a book were encapsulated in the design, from the beautifully illustrated cover, to the heartwarming stories inside, to the blurb on the back and even a little bookmark, as the perfect finishing touch.

With Abi's specialism being in capturing special places (particularly beloved homes), it felt most fitting to show this off with the illustration of a truly magical festive street scene. There are so many special details waiting to be discovered in all aspects of the illustration, including another special guest appearance from Glass & Wick's beloved Jack Russell, Angel - see if you can spot her!

It is our hope that this year's collection of scents enables you to rediscover scent stories of your past, as well as write new ones and revel in the joy of doing so, as you countdown to Christmas.
