Capturing the Quiet Moments: A Cotswolds Location Shoot

This week, we had the joy of spending a peaceful 24 hours in the Cotswolds. A little bit of work, a little bit of rest, and a generous dose of countryside charm.

We stayed at the dreamy Tregoney Cottage, nestled in the quaint village of Guiting Power. With its charming stone walls, picturesque surroundings and characterful interiors, it was the perfect fairytale setting for capturing some slow, seasonal content for our socials.

Every corner offered something to admire: twinkling fairy lights over the fireplace, rustic beams, soft linens, and thoughtful details throughout. We felt instantly at home here (and didn't want to leave!). Best of all, it’s dog-friendly, so we were delighted to bring Angel along too, who made herself comfortable in no time.

After picking up a delicious lunch from The Cotswold Guy (which we briefly enjoyed in the sunshine before the wasps sent us inside), we spent the afternoon filming some of our favourite Glass & Wick rituals; soothing bath-times, gentle morning resets, and the excitement of unboxing a new subscription delivery. Our new room sprays, Hive Burner, candles and wax melts all made an appearance, helping to bring a little everyday magic to life on camera.

Once our work was complete for the day, we headed out for a walk through the village, followed by dinner at The Fox in Oddington, a beautiful spot with such a cosy atmosphere. Later that evening, back at the cottage, I couldn't resist sinking into the roll-top bath with a good book (accompanied by the soothing scent of our Sea Mist & Driftwood candle), then drifted into one of the most restful night’s sleep I’ve had in a long while (the king-size bed and a good spritz of Lavender Noir room spray certainly helped).

The next morning, we reluctantly said our goodbyes to Tregoney Cottage and made the most of our journey home, stopping by Diddly Squat Farm and Daylesford Organic before heading back to Nottinghamshire, feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready for a new week in the barn.

Little moments like these are at the heart of what Glass & Wick is all about; creating time and space to slow down, savour the season, and find joy in the quiet, every day.

We hope you enjoyed this little peek behind the scenes of our latest shoot. If you’d like to experience Tregoney Cottage for yourself, you can find the link here. (This isn’t an ad. We simply loved our stay.)
